Shipping policy

Freight Charges 

Unlike many other companies, we do not incorporate estimated freight costs into our selling prices. The result is a much cheaper catalogue price (as is evident by our significantly cheaper prices). Freight is a real cost though, so we do have a fixed freight cost which is calculated by Postal Codes.

These rates are fixed. The only exception to this is when your order is small and durable enough to be sent inside a satchel. If you think this is the case, then please let us know, and we will discount the freight if we feel the freight is excessive for the order.

It is important that addresses are correct so please see note below in regard to incorrect addresses.

Please note that we do not ship on Weekends or Public Holidays (Auckland). 

Fixed Freight Costs:    

  • Auckland Region Urban - $7
  • Auckland Region Rural - $15
  • Great Barrier - $25
  • Rest of North Island Urban Address - $12
  • Rest of North Island Rural Address - $20
  • South Island Urban Address - $20
  • South Island Rural Address - $30

NB: Please note that in the case of the incorrect postcode being used in an order, resulting in an incorrect freight charge, we will require a freight top-up payment to cover the shortfall before sending the goods.

Orders can be collected from the Collection Bin inside the gate at :

Please follow the signs pointing you to the contactless collection point area. There will be an email sent when the goods are ready with detailed instructions on how to collect.


In Transit Delivery Times
Standard Courier Post courier delivery times apply (Please visit NZ Post address checker to view expected transit times) . 

Please note that we will endeavour to dispatch the goods within the same day, but unfortunately, delivery times are out of our control and we are subject to any delays in delivery that the third party courier company may impose. If you have still not received the order within 5 days of receiving the dispatch email, then please contact the courier directly using the tracking details emailed to you.

Delivery expectations:

  • North Island Urban Areas - 2-3 days
  • South Island Urban areas - 2-5 days
  • Rural Deliveries - see note below

Overnight deliveries (Airfreight) to South Island and nationwide Saturday deliveries is available to some areas. Please inquire within for pricing and eligibility.

Accurate Shipping Information
Please ensure that all shipping details, including your name, delivery address, phone number, and email address, are correct and complete. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer when the original order was placed.

  • Address Verification:
    We recommend double-checking your address before confirming your order. If your delivery address changes after placing an order, please contact us immediately to update the information.
  • Incorrect Addresses:
    If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.
  • Customer Responsibility:
    It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address is accurate and accessible by the courier.

Contact us via phone immediately (0800 936 426) If you notice an error in your shipping details or need assistance. No emails please, as this is not a immediate form of communication. Please note that we will try to amend, but it may not always be possible as we are at the mercy of our 3rd party shipper. 

Tracking

All couriered orders are tracked. On collection a tracking email will be sent to the main email on the customer account. This email will be from our 3rd Party Shipping  Company - Zappy Freight. Please ensure that the domain "shipzappy.co.nz": is on your safe senders list.

Please use the tracking information supplied in the email to contact the Courier Company directly if required.  

Rural Deliveries
Deliveries to addresses deemed to be a Rural Delivery by the courier company could be subject to extended transit times. Whether an address is regarded as is at the discretion of the courier company. Please visit the above address checker link to see if your address is subject to rural delivery times.
