A well lubricated and maintained Quartz Sleeve Seal is vital in the operation of the UV System. Without it, leaking is a distinct possibility.
Over time the heat generated from the UV Lamp will dry out the seal. To extend the life regular lubrication with a water or silicone based lubricant (not petroleum or any other solvent based) is required.
After a while no amount of lubrication will help, and you will need to replace your seal. Please see our range below.
