The NC10 is a single Media Cartridge using FDA Approved Resinex NR-1.
NR-1 is a macroporous strong base anion resin specifically engineered for nitrate removal in potable water systems. Optimized for low-flow applications through dedicated drinking taps, its specialized ion exchange functionality delivers superior nitrate selectivity even in the presence of high sulfate concentrations. This cartridge features regenerative capabilities—simply immerse in a fully saturated brine solution for 15 minutes to restore the resin to near-original condition, allowing multiple reuse cycles without replacement. After flushing, the cartridge is immediately ready for continued service.
