Description
Nitrate Specific Cartridge — Reduce Nitrate Levels in Drinking Water
The NC Series uses FDA-approved Resinex NR-1 — a macroporous strong base anion resin specifically engineered for nitrate removal in potable water systems. Optimised for low-flow drinking water applications, it delivers superior nitrate selectivity even in the presence of high sulfate concentrations.
These cartridges are regenerable — simply immerse in a fully saturated brine solution for 15 minutes to restore the resin to near-original condition, allowing multiple reuse cycles without replacement.
Available Options
| Model | Size | Flow Rate | pH Range | Nitrate Removal Capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NC1020 | 10" x 2.0" (Inline) | 0.5–3 LPM | 4.5–8.5 | ~3,750 PPM |
| NC10-GAC | 10" x 2.5" (Standard) | 0.5–3 LPM | 4.5–8.5 | ~3,200 PPM |
| NC10 | 10" x 2.5" (Standard) | 0.5–3 LPM | 4.5–8.5 | ~7,500 PPM |
| NC10J | 10" x 4.5" (Jumbo) | 0.5–3 LPM | 4.5–8.5 | ~21,000 PPM |
To calculate capacity in litres: divide the cartridge capacity (PPM) by your water's nitrate level (PPM).
Ideal For
- Rural properties with high nitrate levels from agricultural runoff
- Bore and well water with elevated nitrate
- Households with infants (nitrate is particularly harmful to babies)
How to Regenerate
When capacity is exhausted, immerse the cartridge in a fully saturated brine (salt) solution for 15 minutes, then flush thoroughly before returning to service.
