How Quantum Disinfection™ Works
QD uses a catalytic ceramic media with activated surfaces. When microorganisms contact these surfaces, they instantly lose electrons to the positive active sites, causing their entire structure to collapse. No chemicals are released into the water — all bactericidal action is purely surface-catalytic.
Pre-Filtration Required
Like UV, Quantum Disinfection requires pre-filtration to at least 5 micron to prevent the active sites from becoming clogged. A sediment pre-filter should be installed upstream of the Clairify cartridge.
