Overview
The Clairify-RO10 is an inline bacteria removal cartridge for single-tap drinking water applications. It uses Quantum Disinfection technology, a patented nano-composite ceramic media with an activated surface that destroys bacteria on contact as water passes through. No power, no chemicals, and no ongoing maintenance are required.
It removes more than 99.99% of bacteria and also contains coconut shell GAC media to reduce chlorine taste, odour, and organic compounds. The RO10 is rated to 2LPM flow and 11,000 litres of total throughput. It is commonly used as a post-filter on reverse osmosis systems, benchtop filter setups, or as a standalone inline filter at a single drinking water tap.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Quantum Disinfection work without power or chemicals?
The QD ceramic media carries an activated surface charge that attracts and destroys bacteria on contact as water flows through. No UV lamp, no chlorine dosing, and no power connection are needed.
Does this filter replace a UV steriliser?
For single-tap, low-flow applications up to 2LPM, it provides comparable bacteria removal to UV at the point of use. It does not require power and has no lamp to replace. For whole-house or higher flow applications, other Clairify models are available.
When should the RO10 be replaced?
At 11,000 litres of total throughput or when the flow rate drops noticeably, whichever comes first. There is no indicator on the cartridge itself, so tracking installation date and approximate daily usage is the most reliable method.
Can this be used on tank water or bore water?
It can be used on tank water, though pre-filtration for sediment is recommended to protect the media and maintain the flow rate. For bore water with high sediment, turbidity, or chemical contamination, contact us before ordering to confirm the right system.
